Skillet Lickers to perform all-new play, ‘Real Time Radio’ at Cumming Playhouse this February

CUMMING, Ga. – Today, the Skillet Lickers, in conjunction with the Cumming Playhouse, announced an all-new play, entitled ‘Real Time Radio’, which will take place with two showings on Saturday, February 11th at the Cumming Playhouse in Downtown Cumming.

“Following the success we’ve had with our original play, ‘Country Music Down Yonder, which explored the history of Country music and the role the Skillet Lickers’ had in shaping that history, we decided to branch out and create an all new play,” Russ Tanner said. “This new play, which is titled ‘Real Time Radio’, will take the audience on a journey through the history of one of our oldest forms of modern media and the very important role it had in the history of Country music – and in the history of the Skillet Lickers.”

The play will combine great acting, history, and hilarious skits with great music – from Skillet Licker originals to Country, Swing, Blues, and Bluegrass favorites.

Turn your radio on and join the Skillet Lickers at the Cumming Playhouse on Saturday, February 11th at 3pm or 8pm. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students/seniors. You can purchase your tickets right now by clicking here!
