The Skillet Lickers are once again excited to announce that their annual Thanksgiving Feast will be returning to the Skillet Licker Music Hall in Dacula on Friday, November 18th. An annual tradition, started about seven years ago, the feast is an opportunity for fans and friends to eat with the band, catch up with friends and fellow fans, and enjoy the Skillet Licker weekly jam session.
Organized by band manager, Josh Tanner, this event is always free to all fans. “It’s a great chance for the band to say ‘thank you’ to all who have come out and supported them during the busy fall tour season and the entire year. What could be better than enjoying a free Thanksgiving meal and great Skillet Licker music with friends to wrap up another successful year?” Tanner said.
The event typically boasts dozens dishes and desserts, and this year is expected to be no different. The band does ask for dish and dessert contributions to help make this event possible, as all food is donated. For a nominal fee, you can also enter for a chance to win a 20 pound turkey in the Skillet Lickers’ annual turkey raffle to cap off the evening.
The Feast will take place on Friday, November 18th, beginning at 6:30 p.m at the Skillet Lickers’ Music Hall. The hall is located at 2652 Auburn Avenue in Dacula, Georgia.
The Thanksgiving Feast is typically the final opportunity to catch the band before they break for the winter.
